| laudanum is a reddish-brown tincture of opium dissolved in alcohol, used as a pain reliever and cough suppressant and labelled as a poison. this bottle was manufactured for steelman & archer. (have not found yet) |
| victorian murder bottle: baby bottles designed to allow infants to self-feed to allow mothers more time for cooking, cleaning, and other pastimes of the victorian lady. they were notoriously hard to clean and became hothouses for bacteria, resulting in many infant deaths.
